The JSWC Network
The JSWC Network is a new arm of the Jewish Social Work Consortium, bringing Jewish social workers together to connect, share knowledge and resources, collaborate across areas of practice, and support Jewish experience and identity within the social work profession.
The Network fills an important gap given what Jewish social workers have experienced in professional spaces since October 7. Too many of us have been isolated, marginalized, and dehumanized. Our concerns for ourselves, our colleagues, our clients and the profession itself have gone unheeded.
The JSWC wants to offer something different: a professional community where Jewish social workers can connect with each other and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
The JSWC Network Offers
- Professional community in a space where Jewish experience and identity are understood and supported
- Connection with Jewish social workers across areas of practice and around the wold Resources and knowledge sharing, including research, advocacy, events, professional opportunities, and ideas
- Collaboration across clinical practice, academia, research, education, advocacy, and organizational work
- Programming and professional opportunities, including mentorship, leadership, and initiatives shaped by members
The JSWC Network is open to Jewish social workers across areas of practice and at all stages of their careers, including students. Whether you work in clinical practice, agencies, academia, research, advocacy, education. administration, or another area of social work, join us!
